Lab testing allows our dietitians to move beyond general nutrition advice and provide precision-based, medically aligned care. Nutrition is deeply connected to metabolic, hormonal, and biochemical health, and laboratory data helps us understand exactly what your body needs.

Meeting tangible goals every 3 months is motivating and empowering!!  Know that the nutrition and lifestyle change you make are worth more than just numbers on the scale but improving your overall health.

Reasons our Registered Dietitians Use Lab Testing

1. To detect nutrient deficiencies or excesses
Labs provide objective insight into vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fatty acids, and amino acids—allowing us to correct imbalances that may be contributing to fatigue, inflammation, poor sleep, weight changes, or mood shifts.

2. To assess metabolic and cardiometabolic health
Markers like lipids, HbA1c, insulin, ApoB, LDL-P, homocysteine, thyroid hormones, and cortisol help us personalize strategies for blood sugar balance, thyroid support, cardiovascular risk reduction, and weight management.

3. To guide personalized nutrition treatment plans
Lab data eliminates guesswork. We use results to determine the best macronutrient distribution, supplementation needs, and lifestyle approaches for your unique physiology.

4. To support hormone and life-stage transitions
For perimenopause, PCOS, adrenal health, or thyroid dysfunction, targeted testing allows our dietitians to build nutrition plans that support hormonal balance and symptom improvement.

5. To monitor progress and adjust treatment
Follow-up labs show how your body responds—allowing us to refine your plan, discontinue what’s no longer needed, and track measurable improvements over time.

WELLNESS SCREENING LABS

Evexia Wellness Panels are comprehensive health assessments that provide a snapshot of your overall well-being. These panels include a Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential, a Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), thyroid, iron, and lipid panels, urinalysis, and additional markers. They are designed to help individuals understand their health better and guide conversations with healthcare providers.

When the 7 biomarkers including CBC, CMP, Lipid Panel, Iron/Ferritin, A1C, Magnesium, and TSH are tested, a Functional Health Report is generated.  Functional Health Reports highlight imbalances, provide explanations, and boost patient compliance by making results easy to understand — empowering patients to take control of their health journey.

JUST HORMONES - FEMALE TESTING - LABS

During perimenopause, hormone levels become erratic, sometimes surging higher than usual and other times dropping significantly.

Menopause…if you are waiting on the hot flashes and your cycle to disappear, you may be waiting a while.  Peri-menopause can start as early as your late 30’s, but usually in early/mid-40’s.  This ‘transition’ lasts for up to 10 years. This is when your body starts transitioning.  It’s a natural and normal progression but often the symptoms of fatigue, anxiety, and decreased libido may be written off as depression or life.  Understanding your hormone level is a powerful step toward taking charge of your health. The Female Hormone Tests are a comprehensive blood test that measures key hormones related to reproductive and general hormone health.

This hormone test includes important markers such as DHEA-S, estradiol, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormon (LH), progesterone, prolactin, sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), testosterone, and thyroid hormones—each playing a vital role in menstrual cycles, fertility, metabolism, and overall hormonal balance. Hormone imbalances may affect energy, mood, or other aspects of health, but these symptoms can also have many other causes.

Whether you’re experiencing symptoms like irregular periods, fatigue, difficulty losing weight or simply want a deeper look into your hormonal health, this test offers valuable insights to help guide conversations with your healthcare provider.

MALE TESTING - LABS

Comprehensive Testosterone Test

Male hormone check: Get a complete picture with our comprehensive testosterone test – $107

Symptoms of manopause can include fatigue or low energy (an extra nap), mood changes and increased irritability, loss of muscle mass and strength, decreased metabolism, increased body fat, obesity, all before one notices decreases in sexual desire and performance.

This comprehensive testosterone panel includes measurements of albumin, sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), and total and free testosterone. Albumin and SHBG help regulate how much free testosterone is available for use, offering a clearer picture of your free testosterone levels.

Testosterone plays a vital role in male health, influencing energy levels, sex drive, and muscle mass. Some men experience symptoms even when total testosterone is normal, which is why measuring both free and total testosterone levels offer deeper insights. Understanding albumin, SHBG, and testosterone levels can help you and your healthcare provider determine whether symptoms may be linked to high or low testosterone.

TESTS: Testosterone, Serum & Free; Albumin, and Sex Hormone Binding Globulin
