Contemporary Nutrition, Inc. was founded in 2002 and was one of the first practices in the area made solely of Registered Dietitians. From the beginning, our mission has been to make Medical Nutrition Therapy personalized, providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals to improve their health and well-being.
Jaime Lynn Lewis, the CEO of Contemporary Nutrition, has been a driving force in advancing the field of dietetics both locally and nationally. In North Carolina, she contributed to the Blue Cross Blue Shield MNT Evaluation Project, helping demonstrate the value of medical nutrition therapy. On the national front, she worked as Chair of Coding and Coverage for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to expand insurance coverage and improve access to nutrition services across the country.
In the many years of practice, Registered Dietitians have come and gone, but they have each left lasting influence, experience, and input that has built this company to what is today.  As you will see on your first visit, faith, family, and health is the foundation of the practice.
